These updates are addressing over 100 flaws in Windows 10 and Windows 11, two of which have been exploited recently.

For users that are required to follow compliance guidelines ( HIPAA or GLBA), based on Microsoft information if you are using Microsoft Business applications such as 365 for business your data will fall under the security profile setup for your business. If you are using Home versions of Microsoft products compliance is generally not integral and may become a concern.
